Seit dem segensreichen Tage,
Da ich sie zuerst erblickt,
Hat mich immer hoch entzückt
Ihre rosenfrische Jugend,
Ihre Sittsamkeit und Tugend
Und die herrlichen Talente.
Aber dennoch denk ich immer,
Daß es auch nicht schaden könnte,
Wäre sie ein bissel schlimmer.
