Die einzig vernünftige Antwort aber auf die Frage: Wie kommt es, daß eine Translation im Äther sich nicht von Ruhe unterscheiden läßt? war die, welche Einstein gab: weil er nicht existiert! (Der "Äther" ist immer eine vage Hypothese geblieben, und noch dazu eine, die sich so schlecht als möglich bewährt hat.)
